Animal sculpture by the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM), design by Edmund Otto. Depiction of a cockatoo with raised plumage, sitting on foliage. Polychrome painting, underglaze, in restrained colour tones. Stamp signature on the stand "E OTTO", blue sceptre mark, pressed number M15, colour inscribed 140/ 559. Production-related glaze crack in the foliage of approx. 5 millimetres, otherwise very good condition, no restorations. Height: approx. 24.5 cm.
